Content

This course examines how sustainability is defined, interpreted, and applied across disciplines, highlighting key assumptions, challenges, and opportunities. Students from natural and social sciences gain an interdisciplinary foundation, developing critical thinking and the ability to assess real-world sustainability issues.

The course links theory to practice through case studies on topics like climate change, energy, food systems, and biodiversity, supported by guest lectures from professionals working in sustainability.

Recommended academic qualifications

It is recommended that students have completed two years of their BSc program. The course is also open to MSc students. Students from all disciplines can participate.
