Natural resources and economics

Finding the balance in the interaction between nature and humans and how to best satisfy the sustainability agenda is a growing challenge. At the same time, the demands for food security will increase in future due to the pressure on natural resources and a growing population. The courses offered focus on such current issues within natural-resource management and economics. For example, you can update your knowledge on business economics, environmental economics, applied economic analysis, econometrics, cost-benefit analyses etc. You can also take courses that mainly focus on sustainability, climate change and the environment. By doing so, you can bring your knowledge into play and contribute to a greener world.

EU, politics and trade

With a course in resource economics, you can delve into themes within the environment, agriculture and food. You will, for example, learn about the EU agricultural policy and its development, different policy instruments for food and the economic rationale of public intervention. If you are interested in trade, you can study trade theories and international trade. With a course in EU law, you can choose to focus on the legal aspects within the environment, agriculture and food.
