The future of dental care – from digitalisation to patient safety

To handle the future of professional dental care, you have to manage increased requirements when it comes to sustainability, digitalisation, and patient safety in addition to the more traditional, technical advancements.

The University of Copenhagen offers continuing education that focuses on the challenges that dental care professionals face, as well as optimised preventative measures, diagnostics, and treatment of medical conditions in the oral and craniofacial area.

Specialisation and co-operation

We offer both courses aimed specifically at the different professions in dental care as well as team-oriented course, where professionals with different eras of expertise can evolve as a group. Other options include the Academy Profession Degree in Dental Practice, which is a postgraduate education for experienced dental chairside assistants, and the postgraduate programme in orthodontics, which is mainly taught in Danish.

In addition, we offer always up-to-date and relevant courses on subjects such as improved radiography, how to adhere to the standards of the Danish Patient Safety Authority, caries diagnostics, quality assurance in dental care, and more.
