Understand how knowledge is generated
Science is not something that is 'discovered' – it has human designers. What does that mean for the knowledge we generate – and what are the limitations of the knowledge created? In the courses in theory of science, you can explore the philosophical and methodological aspects of the natural sciences. You will gain a deeper understanding of how science works and is conducted, how theories and models are developed and how evidence and data are analysed and interpreted.
