The Master's project is only available for students enrolled on Master of Industrial Drug Development.
The master's project is a pharmaceutically relevant research project that includes both theoretical and experimental components, guided by a thesis supervisor and potentially an external industrial supervisor, with confidentiality agreements and individual oral examinations for group projects.
Together with your supervisor, you will make a detailed agreement about the planning and execution of the project. The theoretical aspects and results of the master’s project culminate in a report. The scope of the topic must be such that the total body of work can be conducted within the deadline set.

Dates and examination
Project start
Biannually: 1 September or 1 February.
Sign up
By 1 June / 1 December respectively via Self Service on KUnet.
After sign-up, students are required to submit a master’s project agreement and register for an exam.

Duration
By individual agreement. Approximately 330-550 hours of work, depending on the credit size.
Credits
12-20 ECTS.
Examination
Written Assignment (Master’s project) and Oral Examination.

EU/EEA citizens
Per 1 ECTS: 1,250.00 DKK
Non-EU/EEA citizens
Per 1 ECTS: 1,960.00 DKK
Citizens of the EU, EEA, or Switzerland are eligible for a subsidised tuition fee in accordance with EU legislation, which accounts for the difference in pricing.
