Master's Thesis
This course is a part of
The thesis must demonstrate the student’s ability to formulate and analyse a scientific issue within the field of headache disorders, based on theory and literature.
The Master’s Thesis is a research report written at the end of the Master of Headache Disorders. The thesis should be structured according to academic standards and written in English. It must comprise a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 35 A4 pages, excluding the cover page, abstract, table of contents, and references.
The student will work with a supervisor from the Danish Headache Center, and an agreement must be signed before starting. The student is entitled to up to 30 hours of guidance during the project.

3 February–28 May 2025 – individual writing
16–21 June 2025 – oral exam at Glostrup Hospital
2026
25 February–13 May 2026 – individual writing
15–19 June 2026 – oral exam on campus

Admission criteria
The Master's Thesis is only available for students enrolled on Master of Headache Disorders.
If you are already a student on Master of Headache Disorders, you will automatically be admitted to the Master's project.

Non-EU/EEA citizens
27,600 DKK
Citizens of the EU, EEA or Switzerland are entitled to a subsidised tuition fee, due to EU legislation.
